John is the son of longtime Lewiston High School Band director Robert Rabassa. His musical background includes an A.D. from U.M.A. in jazz and contempory music, with a major in guitar and a minor in saxophone. John has played in several local bands for the last 22 years, and is presently in "The Broad Street Band". John teaches various styles of guitar as well as reading music and music theory.
